North America Telco Corporation is a VoIP services provider based on Long Island, NY. North America Telco started as part of an Information Technology company in August 2006, because autonomous and incorporated in May 2007. North America Telco Corporation's goal is to help people and businesses solve their telecommunications problems using open source software.

North America Telco primarily provides hosted PBX services, hosted fax services, and hosted telecom switches and billing systems, capable of providing and billing telecom products and services such as calling card products, residential and wholesale VoIP termination, DID resale and callback services.

North America Telco also sells pre-configured Avantfax, FreePBX, A2Billing virtual appliances, physical servers, and provides consultation to those seeking to setup their own VoIP services company, or a cellular network using open source software.

Billing Questions

Monthly charges are invoiced to you via Paypal on the 1st of every month for the current month. Payments are due upon receipt of invoice and are considered overdue if not remitted on the 5th of the month.
Payments are processed through Paypal. You can pay with a ViSA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card using the Paypal platform even if you don't have a PayPal account.
North America Telco Corporation does not collect sales tax.

Technical Questions

North America Telco offers automatic backup as a standard feature in all its servers. Here's what you need to know about our backup service.
  • Backups are stored in the same datacenter as the original instance on a separate, fault tolerant storage system.
  • Automatic backups are configured to run daily.
  • The time of day, day of week/month that the backup occurs is configurable.
  • When backups are restored, snapshots of the entire server is restored, not individual files.
  • Your two most recent backups are stored. Older backups are rotated out after each scheduled interval.
Yes, our plans come with one primary IPv6 address.
Our plans come with one primary IPv4 address. Up to two additional addresses are available for an extra fee.
We use KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine).
We block several ports that are commonly abused for DDOS attacks:
  • TCP & UDP port 17
  • TCP & UDP port 19
  • TCP & UDP port 1900
  • UDP port 53413
  • UDP port 11211
These blocks are permanent, and cannot be removed. The following ports may be blocked, depending on your account:
  • TCP port 25 (SMTP)
  • TCP & UDP port 137
  • TCP & UDP port 138
  • TCP & UDP port 139
  • TCP & UDP port 445
You may request these blocks be removed by contacting us
You will have the option to configure iptables rules to secure your server.

Questions about ma data

There are many file transfer tools that you can use in order to download data stored within your VPS or server. You can use a command like rsync or sftp, or a GUI tool to transfer files via SFTP/SCP. Please contact us if you need more information on this subject.
